The definition of what is green, or environmentally kind, can vary. At FloorsForLess.com, green means new products created from recycled materials. Why not be a good steward of natural resources, especially when the products are fashionable and priced fairly? Eco Supreme: We are proud of this product. This is foundation padding for laminate flooring and engineered float floors, and it is a great noise barrier for hardwood flooring installations. Eco Supreme is made from 95% recycled rubber. It is the best acoustical pad and is naturally anti-microbial. It has an IIC rating of 60 decibels, one of the highest ratings in the market today. It comes in 100 SF rolls that are 48 inches wide Eco Hardwood: When a mills cuts flooring, small pieces are left from the process. In the past, our Canadian mill would either sell this material to pulp mills or, most typically, burn these scraps in the heating plant. Not anymore! These pieces are glued together with a butcher-block effect and then re-milled to create a unique product that is 5 1/4 inch wide with random lengths. It is available either natural or stained in Oak, Maple, American Cherry and Birch. PVC Tile: This direct glue-down PVC wood plank floor is rated for commercial use. It’s great in basements, laundry rooms, commercial areas, and water problem areas. This product is made from 100% recycled PVC. All the above products are competitively priced. |
